Day 2 of the VETSKILLING Project in St. Gallen: Learning and Collaborating

Updated: Nov 6

The second day of our VETSKILLING project started on a sunny day in St. Gallen!

We began with a workshop on generic (soft) skills, highlighting the importance of these abilities and engaging students in practical exercises to enhance them. 🌟

Following this inspiring start, we dove into technical challenges: managing an IoT-controlled dollhouse! This required knowledge of Node-Red, IoT-cube, and creating a mobile app. Fortunately, students had access to documentation from the technical toolbox on vetskilling.eu. 💻🤖

Collaboration took place in an international setting, involving students from Denmark, the Netherlands, the Basque Country, Germany, and Switzerland. There was ample learning through shared experiences and peer support.

During the lunch break, teachers and the management of GBS St. Gallen attended a special workshop on using drones in education – an inspiring addition for all participants.

We can look back on a successful and educational project day, and we are excited to continue working on this amazing project tomorrow! 🚀
