Day 4 of the vETskillinG Project: Generic Skills in Focus

On the fourth day of the vETskillinG Project Dordrecht, the focus was entirely on generic skills. The workshops were led by Mireia De Jesus and Mikel Arza from Usurbilgo Lanbide Eskola in the Basque Country, and the well-prepared sessions were a great success. All students participated actively, and there was plenty of laughter. During the observations, we clearly noticed an upward trend in the students' learning curve.

In the afternoon, the students were tasked with naming five positive and five negative aspects of the project. The second part of the assignment required them to say something positive about the negative points. This approach encourages the students to practice "reframing" and to understand the power of a positive mindset.

The third step was to prepare a presentation that will be delivered tomorrow. Each group, consisting of a German, Danish, Dutch, Swiss, and Basque student, will present their findings. There are five groups, and we are looking forward to seeing the results tomorrow.

The day concluded with a shared dinner, where students and teachers gathered to reflect on the day's experiences.
